Joyful Waiting
"Rejoice in the Lord always."

God of joy,
The time of preparation is not a sad time, but a joyful time of waiting. I await the One who comes to bring joy to the world.
Give me this joy of waiting. Like a child who awaits Christmas with impatience, may I await Your coming with joy and hope.
May this joy show through in my life. May I be a joyful witness of hope, may my joy be contagious.
