Accepting Uncertainty
"Do not worry about tomorrow."
— Matthew 6:34
Heavenly Father,
I would like to have guarantees, certainties about the future. But life is uncertain by nature. This uncertainty frightens me, makes me anxious.
Help me accept uncertainty. Not with resignation but with confidence. Confidence that I can handle what comes, that You are with me, that uncertainty is part of the human adventure.
May I let go of the need to control and foresee everything. Living with uncertainty can be liberating if I trust rather than resist.
Amen.

Reflection
What uncertainty worries you right now? How could you trust a little more?
For all those paralyzed by uncertainty and fear of the future.
