Letting Go

Lord,
Letting go is so difficult. Letting go of control, expectations, burdens I carry. My hands grip tightly what I want to keep.
Teach me the art of letting go. To identify what I can control and what escapes me. To do my part then entrust the rest to You. To loosen my clenched hands.
May I let go with grace. Knowing that what I release makes room for what must come, that this stripping prepares renewal.
