Maturity
"When I was a child, I talked like a child... When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me."

Father,
Maturity is a process, not an event. It requires time, experience, reflection. Growing in wisdom takes a lifetime.
Help me mature spiritually and emotionally. Not simply grow old, but grow in wisdom, in depth, in understanding.
May I develop this maturity that can distinguish the essential from the secondary, that remains calm in the storm, that acts with wisdom.
Amen.
