The Majesty of Mountains
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains."
— Psalm 121:1
Creator of mountains,
Mountains stand majestic, solid, eternal. They inspire me with their quiet strength, their imposing beauty, their closeness to the sky.
Thank You for mountains. For the panoramas they offer, for the effort they require, for this physical and spiritual elevation they provide.
May mountains remind me to aim high. To lift my gaze above daily concerns, to keep a broad perspective, to remain solid.
Amen.

Reflection
What mountain, real or metaphorical, do you need to climb? What summit are you aiming for?
For all those climbing difficult mountains.
