Trust
"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this."
— Psalm 37:5
Lord,
I entrust my worries of this day to You. You know how difficult it is for me sometimes to let go, to trust when the future seems uncertain. I want to control everything, plan everything, master everything, yet I know that so much is beyond my grasp.
Teach me to surrender into Your hands with the simplicity of a child. Not out of resignation, but out of true trust. Help me do what is in my power, then hand the rest over to You with serenity.
When anxiety grips me, remind me that You are there, that You watch over me, that You know my needs before I even express them. Give me that deep peace that comes from faith.
Amen.

Reflection
What keeps you awake at night? Try today to set that concern aside, if only for a moment, and breathe deeply. Trust is cultivated through small daily acts of letting go.
For those who carry heavy burdens and struggle to trust.
