The Treasure of Friendship

God of friendship,
Today I think of my friends. These people who have chosen me and whom I have chosen, who walk beside me, who laugh and cry with me. What a treasure friendship is!
Thank You for these bonds that are not of blood but of heart. For those who truly know me and love me anyway. For the deep conversations, the fits of laughter, the complicit silences.
Help me be a good friend. Present, faithful, listening. May I cultivate these friendships with care, may I not take them for granted. True friends are rare and precious.
