Financial Resilience
"Keep your lives free from the love of money."
— Hebrews 13:5
Providing Lord,
Money is a source of worry for many. Too little and there's anxiety about tomorrow; too much and there's fear of losing it. This preoccupation can invade all of life.
Teach me a healthy relationship with money. Neither idolatry nor contempt, but a right balance. May I meet my needs without making it an obsession, share without impoverishing myself, save without hoarding.
Give me the confidence that You provide for my needs, the wisdom to manage what I have, the generosity to share. May money be my servant, not my master.
Amen.
