Daring Vulnerability

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

— 2 Corinthians 12:9

Lord,

I have learned to hide my weaknesses, to show a strong facade. But this armor isolates and exhausts me. True strength may be in embraced vulnerability.

Give me the courage of vulnerability. To dare show that I don't know everything, that I need help, that I am human. This authenticity creates real connections.

May I find safe people with whom to be vulnerable. And may I be that safe person for others, welcoming their vulnerability without judgment.

Amen.

Reflection

With whom can you be truly vulnerable? How could authenticity deepen your relationships?

For all those who carry their vulnerability alone out of fear of judgment.
