The Gift of Food
"He gives food to every creature."

Providing God,
Every meal is a miracle. The food that arrives on my plate required the work of so many people, the earth's resources, the complex processes of nature.
Thank You for daily food. For the variety of flavors, for the abundance I enjoy, for what nourishes my body and keeps me alive.
May I never take this food for granted. May I eat with awareness and gratitude, not waste, and think of those who are hungry.
